Granite & Victorian Radiator

Granite and Victorian Radiator For this Victorian Kitchen, a new granite counter top was installed. The stone was similar to Ubatuba and included a D shaped, undermount, stainless steel sink and new faucet. A disposer in installed.

For this galley kitchen, the original radiator was too wide, and limited the travel of the door. A refurbished Victorian radiator was installed. By chance, a decorative unit of suitable size was located. it was stripped and re-painted.

The walls of the house have been insulated with blown in cellulose. That along with a new door and window make the room much more energy efficient than when the Victorians occupied the house. Hence a smaller radiator, painted silver, provided more than enough heat for the room.
